Oldenburg Lodge is situated inside a picturesque
privately-maintained Game Park.
The Park features many of the local and indigenous species as well as local flowers grasses, trees and birds. Traditional "plains game" species include black wildebeest, eland, and springbok. Large herds of these are now established.
Also in The Park are giraffe, Burchell's zebra, blesbok, red hartebeest, impala, waterbuck and Kudu as well as many other species. More unusual animals such as baboon and aardvark can be seen.
Game drives and horse riding through the park are available. Day Passes are available.
Oldenburg Lodge and Game Park supports "wildlife conservation".
